InfoRose is a former Political Appointee and Political Speaker. She has served under President George H.W.Bush (41) as the Deputy Director of Intergovernmental Affairs- U.S. Department of Transportation and has been recognized for her 31 years of dedication to the Republican Party.

Rose was a delegate to the 2004 Republican National Convention in New York City and in New Orleans in 1988. She chaired the African-American Coalition for Bush in Washington State, where she organized a press conference for the endorsement of Bush-Cheney on behalf of African-American ministers, businessmen, and NFL Players. As the Co-Chair for the King County Minority Outreach Project, she coordinated the Faith Based Conference held in Seattle earlier this year. She initiated and encouraged the National Bush-Cheney Coalition Divison to include the NFL players among the Athletes for Bush campaign, endorsing the re-election of President Bush. Rose has served as Mistress of Ceremony for Dino Rossi for Governor, Rob McKenna for Attorney General, the King County Annual Gala Dinner, Walter Neary for Lakewood City Council, and Snohomish Republican Party Fundraiser. Rose has taken an active involvement in fundraising and speaking for numerous Republican Clubs and candidates. She also conducted voter registration drives with local churches to get out the vote.

Rose began her career in 1973 volunteering her time on various local, state, and national campaigns in Georgia. In 1980, she served as the Vice Chair for the Georgia State Republican Party. In 1984, serving for four years, Rose became the first Republican woman, and the first black woman to be elected to the City Council in Columbus Georgia. Rose went on to be part of the George H.W. Bush (41) Presidential transition team and later became a political appointee under President Bush (41). Rose also served on the Bush/Quayle re -election campaign 1992, the 2000 Bush/Cheney Campaign in the Coalitions Division at the Republican National Committee in Washington, DC., and volunteered for the Bush/Cheney Presidential inaugural events held in Washington, DC in January 2001. Currently she serves as a campaign strategist for the Black Republican Women International.

Currently residing in Washington State, Rose is a proud mother of two children, Mack Strong starting fullback for the Seattle Seahawks who is married to Zoe Higheagle Strong, and her daughter Rozalyn Strong, a Redmond Elementary School Teacher; as well as a proud grandmother of Isaiah Anthony and Evan James Strong.

As a dedicated Republican, she knows how to get her message across. Rose has the ability to reach across political, social, and economic lines. She is dynamic, motivational, and inspirational. If elected as the Washington State Republican Chairwoman, Rose Strong will play a vital role in the future of the Republican Party.
