Contribution: I have been involved from the inception of the California Space Authority organization and am a past chairperson and treasurer of CSTA and as a member of the CSA transition Board of Directors I am currently the acting chairperson of the Human Resource Committee. I would like to continue my involvement with CSA and be a part of its next evolutionary step with the desire to help bring forth a constructive vision for the future while retaining the established and hard-earned identity of our history.
Biography: James A. Diani is president of A. J. Diani Construction Co., Inc., a general building, general engineering and environmental remediation and restoration contractor. The company has a long history of performance of military and private sector work related to the space launch industry. Mr. Diani currently represents Vandenberg?s 30th Space Wing on General Ralph E. Eberhart?s AFSPC Commander?s Group. Mr. Diani also has a long and diverse history of professional and community involvement and was honored by the Santa Maria Valley Chamber of Commerce as its Citizen of the Year in 1997.
