Infoiz is a teacher, an entrepreneur, a family woman, and a community organizer. She grew up in Iowa and was active in 4-H as well as other activities. She and Dan married at 19 as he began serving in the Army. When Dan got out of the Army, she was awarded the Commander's Award for Public Service (the third highest civilian award presented by the military) for starting a Family Support Group and for serving during the 9/11 attacks as family coordinator, relaying critical, timely information about deployments with military spouses.

She and Dan moved to Colorado in 2000, raising their son and daughter in the Centennial state. She received her degree in Secondary Education, Social Sciences, and Anthropology from Regis University in 2006 and taught History at Widefield High School for 5 years, creating relationships with fellow colleagues and students that still flourish today. She then started a restaurant, Her Story Café. Through healthy food, she told amazing stories about strong, brave, pioneering women throughout our nation’s history. During those 8 years, she became more active in local, Democratic politics.
