| Info | THOMAS BOCK of Chester, Windsor County, was born and raised in Sauk Rapids, a small rural town in Minnesota. He attended St. Cloud University where he earned a BA in political science and minored in economics. Tom moved to Chester, Vermont in 1971. He became vice president and managed the Chester business operations of Readex Microprint/Newsbank, and subsequently owned and operated Vermont T’s, Inc., a small Vermont business, for 21 years, retiring in 2009. Soon after he arrived in Chester he became involved in local government. He served on the Budget Committee, the Board of Civil Authority, the Chester Select Board for 10 years, and served as chair of the Chester Planning Commission for 25 years. He is currently chair of the Southern Windsor County Regional Planning Commission. He is married to Mariette Boni Bock and is the father of three adult children and grandfather of five.
