| Info | Claude Boucher has dedicated his career to representing our country and defending its interests. He has occupied several ambassadorial positions, including Deputy High Commissioner of Canada to the United Kingdom, Canadian Ambassador to Haïti, Advisor to the Secretary General of the Francophonie, M. Boutros-Boutros-Ghali, and Minister-Counsellor at the Canadian Embassy in both France and Mexico. He acquired a solid knowledge of the federal government apparatus while he held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, the Privy Council Office, Department of the Secretary of State and the Department of the Environment.
In recent years, he has become actively involved in both provincial and federal politics. As a result, he now wishes to put his experience and knowledge to work defending the interests of his fellow citizens of Lévis—Lotbinière in Ottawa.
