| Info | As a long time business owner, Mel has operated Complete Marine Detailing, a successful marine and RV business in Salmon Arm for the past 25 years. As a dedicated volunteer, he has served on the boards of the BC and Canadian Wildlife Federations for over a decade, culminating in the President’s Award for outstanding volunteer contribution.
Initial work at a local club level soon led to leadership roles in provincial and national organizations. Mel’s volunteer work extends into the business world as a board member of the Salmon Arm Chamber of Commerce and as President of Shuswap Pro Development Association. Aside from volunteering, Mel and his family take part in the tremendous outdoor recreation the area has to offer. As a family man, businessman, and long time volunteer, Mel is familiar with the various challenges facing the constituents of the riding.
Mel and his wife live in Salmon Arm and have one daughter.
