| Info | Rod Frank is a leading telecommunications lawyer, having negotiated and drafted many of Canada’s first-ever telecommunications agreements. He is now ready to serve the residents of Sherwood Park-Fort Saskatchewan and provide them with the leadership they deserve.
After earning his Bachelor of Commerce and Law Degrees from the University of Alberta, Rod spent much of the next three decades specializing in the world of Competition, Antitrust, and Telecommunications law, in private practice and the corporate environment.
In addition to his legal profession, Rod is a writer, including for The National Magazine – official periodical of the Canadian Bar Association; and formerly with the Sherwood Park News’ column “The Lawyer in Your Corner”. He is executive Vice Chair of the Canadian Bar Association’s Competition Law Section, past chair of the Edmonton chapter of the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association, and an Incorporator and past Director of the Elk Island Schools education foundation, which raises funds to assist schools in enhancing curriculum and enriching school programs.
Rod has resided in Sherwood Park for over 40 years. He and his spouse are the proud parents of two children.
