Info | The mission of Gladys Millers campaign is simple: To keep California and America the greatest place for all to live and raise our children, regardless of race, creed, religion or political affiliation.
Having served as Chairperson of the Republican 50th District Central Committee and President of the Los Angeles Republican County Labor Committee, Gladys is a leader who will work for change in Sacramento.
In addition to Gladys' political contributions, her broad work experience encompasses issues addressing labor, finance, purchasing, as well as working for local cities and a municipal utility (currently at the L.A. Dept. of Water and Power). Since 1990, Gladys has been a Union Steward with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW).
If elected to the Assembly, Gladys will work to give kids the chance they deserve in Education, and enable parents to give their child every opportunity to succeed. In addition, she looks to cut taxes and reduce wasteful government spending. She is a staunch supporter of Death Penalty legislation, feels strongly about that elected officials should be accountable to the citizens.
Gladys Miller graduated from Pontiac Northern High School and subsequently attended Pontiac Business Institute, majoring in accounting and business mathematics. She currently works for the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.
