InfoA veteran of the Vietnam War, Bob Perkins is running for election to California’s 28th Assembly district.

He presently serves as the executive director of the Monterey County Farm Bureau, a private nonprofit association of farmers and ranchers in Monterey County. He has been a Farm Bureau Manager for 25 years, and has also served on the California District Fair Board of Directors. In addition, he has been a member of University of California Advisory Committees and has served on Committees concerning habitat conservation, finance, land use planning, and high school education in his local community.

Bob looks to provide a business-friendly environment that will provide jobs for Californians, and will also devote himself to protecting and improving California’s present infrastructure. He believes that California’s present government has made it harder than ever for business to provide jobs, and will make it a priority to change regulations impeding business.

Bob Perkins holds a Master of Business Administration from California Baptist University, and an undergraduate degree in Journalism from Louisiana State University. He is married and has five grown children.
