|Info||As a mother, Orly has instilled a strong belief in God in each of her four children because she believes it's the foundation for a fulfilling life. For the same reason, she also believes we need to restore God's traditional role as a nation under God as an underlining base of American values and she will take that fight to Congress! |
Orly was named Businessman of the Year in 2003 by the National Republican Congressional Committee and has received several other awards recognizing her spirit of entrepeneurship. She's committed to strengthening South Carolina's infrastructure and communications systems to improve its business climate while perserving our state's unique character. If elected, you can count on Orly to make sure South Carolina's issues wind up on the national agenda - starting with a tax program that rewards companies who keep their manufacturing jobs at home instead of shipping them overseas. Creating new opportunity with a new vision.
Living in the Middle East, Europe and the U.S. has allowed Orly the chance to become fluent in six languages and given her an uncommon understanding of foreign affairs. In fact, she currently teaches a continuing education class on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict for the University of South Carolina. Orly's unique perspective has convinced her that American values and leadership are needed now more than ever on the world stage and she will stand strongly in support of President Bush's efforts to provide that leadership.
She has seen the front lines of the war on terror, surviving a double suicide bombing during a visit to Israel and she comes from a family with a remarkable record of military service, including that of her husband. Orly will be a strong supporter of the effort to strengthen homeland security and a determined friend of the men and women serving in our armed forces.
More than anything else though, Orly is committed to making sure that future generations of Americans and South Carolinians are able to enjoy the security, freedoms and opportunities she and her family have found here. Together, we can make it happen!
