Info | Le was born in Vietnam and migrated to Australia as an eleven year old, arriving with her mother and two younger sisters after three years in a Philippines refugee camp. After completing an Arts degree majoring in political science at Macquarie University, Le started working on local papers before becoming a researcher and documentary producer for ABC Radio National. In 2008 she was chosen as the Liberal candidate for the 2008 Cabramatta by-election and was again the Liberal candidate at the 2011 state election when she reduced Labor's margin to 2.1%. Le was elected to Cabravale Ward on Fairfield Council in 2012 as an Independent and re-elected in 2016. She was then expelled from the Liberal Party for running in the Mayoral election against an endorsed Liberal candidate. Le polled strongly as an Independent candidate for Cabramatta in 2019 and was re-elected to Council.
