Candidate for US Vice President (R) nomination, 1916-1928; was living in New York City in 1920 and Washington DC in 1928.

When Webster filed for the Vice Presidential primary in Ohio in 1916, a technical error in his application caused his name to also be placed in the primary for US President (New York Times, 4/24/1916).

Webster apparently died around 1930.
