InfoEddie Edwards is the former chief of police for the town of South Hampton. He served as Chief of New Hampshire State Division of Liquor Enforcement, and under his leadership the Division became New Hampshire’s first statewide law enforcement agency to receive the distinction of Advanced National Law Enforcement Accreditation.

A navy veteran and graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, Edwards spent a career in law enforcement before moving to the private sector and launching a business working with small businesses to help reduce regulation and cut through red tape.

Throughout his career, Edwards has worked to address the problems of substance abuse. As director of enforcement and licensing for the New Hampshire.

State Liquor Commission, he worked to reduce substance misuse and abuse. He is currently a board member of the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Hampshire, helping to fight the scourge of opioid abuse, and he serves as the chairman of the Governor’s Advisory Group on Juvenile Justice.
Guided by integrity, Edwards has served in federal, state, and local government, and as someone who has seen the waste of government from the inside, he has consistently stood with New Hampshire families against expanding the role to government in our lives and the squandering of our hard-earned tax dollars. He has advocated that government at every level must be small, efficient, and transparent.
