Statement: We live in Washington’s most diverse, dynamic region. As a champion for civil rights, public safety, and living wages, I work every day to celebrate and nurture our communities. I am a public school mom, a civic volunteer, and proud advocate for women, young people, immigrant families, and neighborhood businesses.
We need passionate leadership in Olympia committed to improving opportunity for all. This means fully funding our schools and investing in programs that help every child succeed. It means progressive tax reform that rewards entrepreneurs and workers, not out of state corporations. It means securing stable transit funding that doesn’t burden working people, and fundamentally reducing income inequality. And it means standing up for all of our civil, immigrant, and human rights.
