Davis in Pittsburgh; sheriff of Allegheny County, Pa., 1942-1944; elected to the Seventy-ninth and to the thirteen succeeding Congresses and served from January 3, 1945, until his death in Pittsburgh, Pa., April 25, 1971; interment in Union Dale Cemetery.
