| Info | Amanda Renteria was born and raised in Woodlake, California, a small town located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley. She is the daughter of a Mexican immigrant farmworker who worked his way up, eventually building a family as well as a small business here in the Central Valley.
Amanda is the mother of two young boys, a former high school teacher, and the first Latina in history to serve as Chief of Staff in the United States Senate. She is a pro-growth Democrat with private sector work experience, a Master’s degree from Harvard Business School, and a proven track record spearheading effective economic and agriculture policy.
