Schoeppel in the Eighty-first Congress; elected as a Republican to the Eighty-second and to the ten succeeding Congresses; served from January 3, 1951, until his death November 13, 1972, in Bethesda, Md.; interment in West Lawn Cemetery, Canton, Ohio
