|Info||Mr. Lagana was selected by district Democratic Committee members April 11, 2018, to fill a vacancy created when Senator Robert Gordon resigned to become a commissioner on the Board of Public Utilities. Mr. Lagana took the oath the following day. He was elected to the Assembly in 2013, 2015 and 2017. |
Prior to his legislative tenure, the senator was a member of the Paramus Borough Council, from 2012 to 2013.
Senator Lagana was born Dec. 15, 1978, in Teaneck. He received a bachelor’s degree in history from Fordham University in 2000. He received a juris doctorate, cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2004. He is a partner with the Secaucus law firm of Chasan, Lamparello, Mallon and Cappuzzo.
Mr. Lagana and his wife, Jamie, were married in 2006, and they have two daughters.
