| Info | Adam Van Susteren's campaign team for California's 53rd Congressional district is getting ready to launch his candidacy for the 2004 election. While most of the attention is focused on the recall effort for governor Gray Davis, Van Susteren has received a little press regarding his lawsuit over the 2002 election.
Van Susteren lost his Appeal in the Ninth Circuit and is currently preparing his case for the United States Supreme Court. If he prevails, the case will permit ballot access to additional qualified candidates in order to allow the voters more choices on the ballot.
His fight for the voters to be able to choose from additional candidates typifies what Van Susteren stands for, keeping the government from making choices for the American people. Giving each citizen more choices for how to live their own lives.
