| Info | I was born and raised in the town of West Warwick and have lived here for most of my life.
Family
I am the son of Mark Satchell, a EMS dispatcher for the State of Rhode Island and Alyson (Ferreira) Satchell, a Kindergaten teacher at Greenbush Elementary School here in West Warwick. I have two siblings, Brandon and Kayley, both of West Warwick. I married Kayla (O’Malley) Satchell in August, 2012.
Education
I am a proud graduate of the West Warwick Public School System. I attended Kindergarten at the Duffy School, now the Administration building. I attended Maisie E. Quinn Elementary School for first and second grade. I attended Greenbush Elementary School for third through fifth grade. I attended the Crossroads School for sixth grade before moving to John F. Deering for seventh and eighth grade. I am a proud graduate of West Warwick High School, Class of 1999. I attended Merrimack College, in North Andover, MA. I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Pscyhology, with a minor in Education in 2003. I spent a semester at St. Patrick’s College in Dublin, Ireland studying Education in 2001. I also received my Masters Degree in School Counseling from Rhode Island College in 2009.
Career
I will begin my career as a Guidance Counselor within the West Warwick School System starting in the 2012-2013 school year. I have spent the previous six years as a teacher at West Warwick High School. I have also worked as a server, bartender, and line cook at Carrabbas Italian Grill in Warwick, RI for the past nine years.
