Info | John Davis is a fourth-generation Oregonian, a native of Clackamas and Washington counties, a husband, a father, and a business and real estate attorney. John has dedicated his life to serving his community and those in need. In his law practice, he assists entrepreneurs, nonprofits, farmers, and businesses in complex and multi-state transactions involving business law, finance, real estate, and estate planning. For over a decade, John has been committed to serving Wilsonville through mentoring high school students and serving in numerous roles with Wilsonville Young Life.
John grew up in Oregon and became involved in business and leadership roles at an early age. While attending West Linn High School, John was a class president and served as an Oregon Vice President for Future Business Leaders of America. In middle school, he started a successful computer consulting firm, which he owned and operated until entering law school.
John graduated summa cum laude from George Fox University, where he served in numerous leadership roles while committing to serve meals to the homeless on a regular basis in downtown Portland. He then dedicated a year of service through the AmeriCorp*VISTA program where he served as Programs Director for a community nonprofit organization. Deciding to then pursue a degree in law, he attended Willamette University College of Law, where John graduated first in his class as Valedictorian.
As an Oregon native, John is actively engaged in the region’s activities. He currently serves as President of Emerging Leaders for Oregon, which is dedicated to identifying young, vibrant, articulate leaders of the next generation and motivating those individuals to serve in political and civic roles. Locally, John is a board member with Wilsonville Young Life, continuing his decade-long commitment to the organization’s work. John is also regularly engaged in political and civic activities in Oregon, advising and assisting with campaigns and potential candidates.
John married his college sweetheart, Sarah. They both grew up on Borland Road, just 1/2 mile from one another. Each has lived in or near house House District 26 for nearly three decades. After nine years of marriage, John and Sarah welcomed their first child into the world, William.
John, Sarah, and William reside in Wilsonville.
