InfoGuy Lauzon was first elected to the House of Commons in June 2004. Born and educated in Stormont, Dundas and South Glengarry, Mr. Lauzon brings extensive experience in government, community service, labour, agriculture and industry to Parliament.
Before being elected to Parliament, Mr. Lauzon held a number of positions in the public and private sectors. Mr. Lauzon worked as the General Manager of Tri-County Protein Corp in Winchester, ON. He served as Manager of the Human Resources

Development Canada branch office in Cornwall. Mr. Lauzon also coordinated the fundraising team for the new Aquatic Centre in Cornwall, ON and owned the Bonville Flea Market. During his career, Mr. Lauzon also worked at Domtar, Courtaulds and Metropolitan Life Insurance.

Since being elected in 2004, Mr. Lauzon has been appointed to the Shadow Cabinet as Opposition Critic for Treasury Board and Official Languages. He has also been involved in the Official Opposition BSE working group (dealing with the mad cow crisis), the multi-party Border Caucus, the Conservative Party Caucus Policy Development Committee and l'Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie.

To date, Mr. Lauzon has held over 10 public town hall style meetings in Stormont, Dundas and South Glengarry. He has been very active in addressing the current agriculture crisis, economic development, border issues, criminal justice and family issues.
