Career Background: Began his business career in 1972 as a consultant for Price Waterhouse and Co. In 1978, he became executive vice-president of universal trading (Taipei, Taiwan); then a manufacturer and subcontractor of electronic components and office equipment for U.S. and Japanese multinationals. In 1982, Chungsen became general manager, Asia Pacific for Urban Transportation Development Corporation (UTDC), where he successfully marketed and sold Canadian urban transit technology to China, Japan and Malaysia. His Environmental Group of Companies are engaged in disaster mitigation, emergency relief shelters, environmentally-friendly buildings, air and water purification systems, waste management systems, sustainable energy systems, alternative building materials and disaster mitigation management.
