A graduate of St. Charles Preparatory High School, Mr. Brown attended Columbus State Community College during the 1980�s and into the 1990�s, while working fulltime. A military veteran, Mr. Brown served in the Ohio National Guard from 1981 to 1987, honorably completing a six year enlistment as a Personnel Records Specialist in the 237th Support Battallion. His work background includes employment in construction/civil engineering testing and inspection, manufacturing, office support, warehousing/logistics, hospitality/convention support, and support staffing for disaster relief operations with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Mr. Brown ran for the United States Congress in 1988 as the Democratic Candidate in Ohio�s 12th District, running against incumbent former
Congressman John Kasich.
