| Info | My name is Paul Anderson. I am a conservative Republican seeking to represent the voters of Nevada State Assembly District 13. My wife April and I are native Nevadans. My grandfather came here to help build Hoover dam and shortly thereafter made Las Vegas his home. April’s great-grandfather M.J. Christensen came to Las Vegas in 1939 and founded M.J. Christensen Jewelers. Both of our families have been active in the Las Vegas business, civic, and political communities for many generations. April and I want our 4 children (Jacob, Taylor, Jordan and Joe) to know the quality of life that we grew up with. The Las Vegas that has attracted millions over the years, to move here, work here, and raise their families here. Our children, yours and mine, are the reason that I would like to serve as your Assemblyman. To offer future generations of Nevadans a great place to prosper.
I believe my experience as a husband, father and business owner have given me a unique skillset that can help us recover from the troubles, we Nevadans, find ourselves. We need to get people back to work now! We need to create an education system that prepares students to be able to compete on a global scale and we need a Government that serves us and is accountable to us. If I am elected as your Assemblyman these are the priorities that I will work on.
