| Info | My name is David A. Ruben. I am running for the United States Senate in Arizona.
I was born in Arizona and grew up here. My family and I have lived and been in business in Arizona for over seventy years. I completed the graduate programs in medicine and business at the University of Arizona. I have five children and six grandchildren.
I have practiced medicine in psychiatry, pain management, and the treatment of other chronic illness. I have built and directed medical practices and hospitals as well as worked in restaurant supply, mining, fishing, forestry, coaching, building, publishing, writing, and management of other businesses.
I have been involved in community projects and activities that include the welfare of children and families.
I am running for the Senate because of my concern for preserving and increasing the quality of life for my children and grandchildren and for those of all of us. I see many problems that need our best thinking and efforts to assure that they will have the opportunities that many of us have had growing up.
I am especially focused on ways our healthcare system and legal system can be affordable, accessible and of better quality, and how government and business can work together to ensure jobs and a healthy economy.
I have worked all my life with others to help them find new ways to improve their lives. I am skilled in aiding others avoid “no win” positions and rather find shared interests to work toward common goals.
I am at the point in my life where I have much to offer the State of Arizona and our Country and look forward to meeting with you and learning more of your needs and views on what must be done.
