Robert Marc Levy was born on December 3, 1952 in the City of New York. As a youngster, his family moved to Southern Pines, North Carolina where he grew up. Mr. Levy graduated from Pinecrest High School in Southern Pines, North Carolina in 1970. Thereafter, he attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated Cum Laude in 1974. In 1975, Mr. Levy moved to California and the San Fernando Valley.

In 1978, Mr. Levy graduated law school at the University of LaVerne in the San Fernando Valley. While attending law school, Mr. Levy co-authored a Law Review article on the legal aspects of affirmative action. He was also a member of the Moot Court Honors Program.

In November 1978, Mr. Levy was admitted to the State Bar of California. He was later admitted to practice before the United States District Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

The notable cases with which Mr. Levy has been associated include successful defense of clients sued by the American Civil Liberties Union. For the past 23 years Mr. Levy has practiced family law in the San Fernando Valley.

Mr. Levy is married with three children, ages 17, 14, and 6. He is past president of the Men's Club of Temple Aliyah in Woodland Hills, California, and remains active in Civic Affairs.

Mr. Levy is "of Counsel" to the United States Justice Foundation, a group of lawyers from around the State of California who donate their time and effort to fighting for the rights of individuals and against big government. Currently, Mr. Levy volunteers his time to the Superior Court of Los Angeles, serving as a Judge Pro Tempore.
