InfoMichael M. Nadli was re-elected to the 18th Legislative Assembly of the Northwest Territories as the Member representing Deh Cho. He was first elected in 2011 for the 17th Legislative Assembly.

Mr. Nadli was born in Edmonton, Alberta and has lived in several different communities in the NWT. He currently resides in Fort Providence.

After graduating from Paul William Kaeser High School, Mr. Nadli was awarded a two year scholarship to study an International Baccalaureate program at Lester B. Pearson College. He also attended the University of Lethbridge, completing the first year of management studies.

Mr. Nadli was elected as sub-chief of Deh Gah Got’ie First Nations from June 2009 to September 2011. He also served as Grand Chief of Deh Cho First Nations from August 1997 to June 2003.

Previously, Mr. Nadli worked as the Chair/CEO of the Dehcho Land Use Planning Committee, Intergovernmental Advisor with INAC, and Chief Operating Officer with the Dehcho Bridge Corporation.

Mr. Nadli enjoys arts and culture, reading, researching, and on the land activities. He also volunteers with traditional Dene drumming.

Mr. Nadli is bilingual in his first language of Deh Gah Got’ie Dene Zhatie and English.

Mr. Nadli is a father of two children.
