| Info | A young local leader born in Atikokan to a family of forest industry workers, Sarah Campbell is known for the energy consumer awareness campaigns she has conducted in our region.
Sarah has been working to make people aware of the dishonest tactics used to mislead households into signing exorbitant home energy contracts. As Constituency Assistant and Outreach Coordinator for former NDP leader Howard Hampton, Sarah organized local residents against the Harmonized Sales Tax (HST) and rising hydro prices. Sarah has a proven record of fighting to make Northern Life affordable.
Educated at Lakehead University, Sarah also represents Oxdrift on the Kenora District Services Board and sits on the Kenora Unincorporated Ratepayers Association. As a youth, she spent her summers working at the Thunder Bay Crown Attorney’s Office, the Ear Falls Sawmill, and the Lac Seul Onaway Lodge.
She lives in Oxdrift with her husband Josh Johnson.
