| Info | Small business owner and teacher, Charles Sanderson today announced that he is running for the Green Party of PEI in District 10, Charlottetown-Winsloe.
Sanderson grew up in Warren Grove where his family have been living and homesteading for six generations. Teaching has always been his passion, starting with teaching swimming lessons in his youth, going on to become a teacher in the school system, and as the owner-operator of a yoga studio. Sanderson holds degrees in business administration and education from UPEI.
“I know the importance of both mental and physical health for the well-being of Islanders. The Green’s focus on supporting healthy lifestyles and, at the same time, tackling the underlying social causes of poor health outcomes is essential if we want to make a real difference. I want to see better support for Islanders to live healthy and happy lives,” says Sanderson.
