| Info | Weaver is a 1964 Danville graduate and is the daughter of Betty J. Lynn and the late Christopher C. Lynn Jr. Weaver and her husband of 46 years, Paul, have three children, Paul, Mark, and Andrea Weaver-Stine. They have four grandchildren, Chloe, Nicholas, Jonah and Pear.
Weaver has a long list of community affiliations. She has volunteered with the Danville Chapter of the Red Cross for 35 years, including time as director of youth services and on the Special Blood Services Committee. Weaver has also volunteered with heart and cancer associations and was a past Deacon and Secretary of the Consistory at St. James’ United Church of Christ, Ridgeville.
Mrs. Weaver is running for her eighth term. Her office handles the recording of deeds, mortgages, easements and other documents pertaining to real estate and is also responsible for the probating of estates and the collection of inheritance tax.
A 1964 graduate of Danville Area High School, she was employed as a paralegal in the law office of Arthur Peters Jr. for 16 years, specializing in real estate and estate work before being elected as register and recorder.
She has been a volunteer with the Danville Red Cross Chapter for 35 years, has served as director of youth services, was a member of the special blood services committee, volunteered at bloodmobiles and set up the platelet transports to Wilkes-Barre. She has been a volunteer with heart and cancer organizations. She is deacon and secretary of the consistory of St. James United Church of Christ at Ridgeville.
She and her husband Paul of 42 years have three children: Paul of Mifflinburg, Mark of New Cumberland and Andrea Weaver-Stine of Danville and three grandchildren.
