InfoAnne Jamieson is a nurse and PhD student at the University of British Columbia who resides on the Sunshine Coast. She became active in her student days in the early 1960s with the Committee for Nuclear Disarmament and The Internationalists at UBC. She works with the collective "Investing in Health" to build the unity of nurses, other health-care workers and professionals to demand increased funding for social programs and that decisions concerning health should be made by those engaged in the work. She was the candidate for the MLPC in Vancouver Quadra in the 1997 and 2000 elections.
