InfoJerry Lewis has been a resident of Mesa for nearly 30 years. He is a family man and a community leader. A former Certified Public Accountant, and senior manager for accounting firm Deloitte and Touche, Jerry understands how to manage finances, tax and regulatory issues, and knows business. A current superintendent of a statewide charter school organization, Lewis will bring three decades of private-sector management and finance experience to the state capitol.

Lewis will also bring over three decades of community service, having served in a variety of volunteer, church, and civic positions, including his current service as Vice President of the Grand Canyon Council of the Boy Scouts of America and former service as Chairman of the Mesa District of the Boy Scouts of America; Stake President and Bishop in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; Treasurer, Board Member and Coach of the Westwood Little League (formerly known as Mesa Northwestern Little League); Coach for Mesa Girls Softball and Mesa YMCA Soccer; Member of various Whittier Elementary, Carson Junior High and Westwood High School parent groups; Chairman of the Westwood Baccalaureate Committee; and President of the Arizona Drug Abuse Program (formerly known as the Palmer Drug Abuse Program)
