Info | Hilary Crowley has lived with her husband in the small community of Summit Lake, North of Prince George, since 1973. She recently retired from Prince George Regional Hospital where she worked as a physiotherapist for over 25 years. She has served on the executive of the Summit Lake community association since 1980 and is the founding President of SODA, a charity which supports disability work in South India.
Hilary was a Green Party candidate in the federal election of 2000 as well as in the provincial election of 2001. She feels strongly that a new, ethical way of governing needs to be introduced in order to restore trust and pride in the Canadian government and to help restore World order.
"Democracy has been eroded as we are increasingly governed by transnational corporations instead of by democratically elected representatives." Hilary believes that political decisions should not just depend on economics, but that environmental and social impacts must be considered.
Hilary is proud to run for the Green Party and looks forward to promoting the Green platform and to debating important issues which are fundamental to the well being of our children and future generations.
