| Info | Dan was born and raised in Eugene and now resides in Warrenton where he is a retired PGA Golf Professional and business owner. He started his career in golf in 1950 as an Assistant Golf Professional at Astoria Golf and Country Club and was later drafted into the US Marine Corp in 1952 where he faithfully served his country until 1954. Upon leaving the military Dan resumed his career in golf and became a Head Golf Professional, business owner, and ultimately a golf course owner in 1990. Dan retired in 2008 and has been an active member of his local community in and around Clatsop County.
Dan has been truly blessed with many opportunities to serve his community as a volunteer including: Clatsop County Circuit Court mediation, Seaside Public School District Budget Committee, Caring Adults Developing Youth Mentoring, Astoria Rescue Mission Board, Seaside High School Golf Coach, and Smart Readers Program Volunteer. Dan is also a master gardener and loves Oregon for it's beautiful landscapes and rich greenery.
Dan believes this is his most important volunteer mission yet. Our country is crying out for direction. People want to be heard. We need your help to make a positive change.
