InfoHe was born on June 29, 1943, and received his B.S. and M.A. from Alabama State University. He and his wife, Evelyn, are the parents of a daughter, Angela Carter. Representative Thomas serves as Principal Director for Wilcox Central High School and owner of Thomas Construction Company. He is a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in White Hall, the Alabama and National Education Associations, and the Administrators Association. Representative Thomas also serves as President of the National Black Caucus of State Legislators.
