Info | Rama Yade is a french politician, born in Dakar, Senegal, in 1976. She became member of the UMP in 2005 and supported actively Nicolas Sarkozy. She became Secretary of State on Human Rights at the Ministry of foreign affairs in 2007. Rama Yade surprised many when she officially opposed Ghaddafi's trip to France in 2007. In 2009, after having refused to head the UMP for the european elections, she became Secretary of State on Sports. Becoming more and more critical of the governmental action, she was obliged to left the governement on december 2010. Rama Yade is now a member of the Radical Party.
