Gibson; reelected to the Seventy-fourth and to the seven succeeding Congresses and served from January 16, 1934, to January 3, 1951; was not a candidate for renomination in 1950; resumed the practice of law in Northfield, Vt.; died in Barre, Vt., October 31, 1964; interment in Mount Hope Cemetery, Northfield, Vt.
