InfoBrad Schneider is a businessman, community leader, and avid bicyclist. He lives in Deerfield with his wife, Julie Dann, and their two sons, Adam (18) and Daniel (16).

Born in Colorado, Brad received his B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern University in 1983. He began his professional career as an industrial engineer, but was drawn to opportunities that applied the disciplined thinking of engineering to the business arena. Brad joined Price Waterhouse as a strategy consultant and earned his MBA in 1988 at Northwestern’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

Brad’s successful career in strategic management consulting now spans 25 years. He has worked at both national and closely-held firms and has helped clients large and small succeed. In 2008, Brad founded Cadence Consulting Group, LLC.

Brad is also deeply involved in the community. He is a Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow (2003) and has served on the boards of Business and Professional People for the Public Interest and the Family Firm Institute, Midwest Chapter. He was an active member of and speaker for Vistage International. He is a member of the Chicago Council on Global Affairs and a participant in the “In Good Faith” program at Catholic Theological Union.

Brad is extremely active with one of the largest non-profit social welfare institutions in the state, the Jewish United Fund/Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Chicago. He is on the executive committee of the Chicago Region of the American Jewish Committee (AJC) and is chair of its Inter-Religious/Inter-Ethnic Committee. Brad is an active member of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and was a founding member of the New Leadership Network (NLN). He was Chair of the Chicago Alliance of Latinos and Jews.

Among his most significant commitments, Brad coached his sons’ soccer and baseball teams for twelve years. He frequently volunteers at their schools.

When Brad isn’t on the campaign trail, he loves to be on the bike trail. He looks forward to meeting voters and hearing their views on how Congress can better serve them.
