Info | Probational Services Company CEO
Clay Cox is a Georgia Republican intent on changing government so that it operates efficiently, fairly and to the benefit of all U.S. citizens. As a lifelong Georgia resident who conducts business in Greater Atlanta and beyond, Clay shares the values and common goals of the people in this area. Clay is a successful businessman and knows that bringing "common sense" conservatism to the U.S. Congress will guarantee a safer and more stable America for our children. He will serve the people of Georgia's newly created 13th Congressional District with a focus on economic freedom and traditional family values.
Clay began serving the people of Georgia over a decade ago when he and his wife Lisa founded Professional Probation Services, Inc. Their business helps keep Georgia safer at no cost to taxpayers. Since its founding, PPS has formed partnerships with city and county governments all over Georgia and throughout the country. Clay's success in a service previously dominated by big government with all its red tape and inefficiency is a shining example of entrepreneurship. It is clear why Clay advocates decreased government control and greater incentive for our businesses - his story is proof that we can improve the lives of Americans and create a safer, more economically sound society by unleashing the American spirit.
John Clayton Cox grew up in Gwinnett and attended Brookwood High School. He was raised to be active in church, community service and sports. His athletic and academic prowess earned him a full scholarship to Western Carolina University, where he played football for the Catamounts and achieved a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
Clay and Lisa are proud parents of two sons: Connor, 8, and Carson, 5. The Coxes serve as an interim foster family for newborns and are active members of the Lilburn Christian Church. Clay is a Rotarian and member of the Dekalb, Gwinnett, Clayton, South Fulton, and Walton County Chambers of Commerce. He is also a youth soccer coach and volunteer high school football coach.
Clay is humbled by the opportunity to run as a Republican in Georgia's 13th Congressional District, but is eager to respond to the calling. He is a proven leader grounded in his faith and family. Clay Cox will serve in Washington as both a no-nonsense businessman and a gracious statesman to effectively represent the interests of Georgians living in the 13th District.
