Info | François Jeanneret (* October 10 1932 in La Chaux-de-Fonds , a native of in Le Locle ) is a Swiss politician ( LPS ).
After attending schools in La Chaux-de-Fonds Jeanneret began to study law in Neuchâtel . He received a licentiate in 1957 and 1959, the bar exam . He was from 1959 to 1969 practiced law in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
In 1961 he joined the Grand Council of the Canton of Neuchâtel selected him with the 1969 change in the State was where he headed the Department of Military and Education. From 1979 to 1991 he was in the National Council from 1987 to 1991 he was president of the Liberal Group of the Federal Assembly. Two years after his retirement from the National Council, it was 1993 president of the LPS Switzerland and this was before to 1997.
Jeanneret was also a member of the 1952-1957 academic society Belles-Lettres .
