Info | Catherine Davis has been a political activist for many years. She has been involved in political campaigns and activities since she was just out of college. A former resident of Virginia, Catherine’s interest in the public policy arena was continued when she served as a member of Governor George Allen’s campaign and transition team.
In 1992, Catherine was instrumental in the formation of the Network of Politically Active Christian Women, a group that had affiliations in Maryland, Georgia and Virginia. She assisted Kay Cole James, current director of President George W. Bush’s office of Personnel Management and former Secretary of Heath and Human Services in Virginia, with community outreach to reform welfare in that state. After relocating to Georgia, she was appointed by former State Representative Ron Crews to the Welfare Reform Task Force.
In 2000 Catherine ran for Georgia’s 80th House District. Since 2001 she has served as a delegate to the Republican convention and had served in 2001 as precinct chair for then school district 2. Catherine is a member in good standing of the North Atlanta Conservative Republican Women and volunteers on initiatives taken on by that group.
Catherine Davis is a magna cum laude graduate of Tufts University where she majored in Education and Psychology. She is also an alumnus of the University of Bridgeport School of Law. Catherine is an experienced human resources manager currently working for Sprint. She and one of her two children have lived in Georgia for more than 8 years. She is a committed Christian attending The Father’s House, where Wellington Boone and Garland Hunt are Pastors.
