InfoCARL J. ROSENQUIST of Georgia, Franklin County, Republican, was born on March 5, 1943 in Abington, Pennsylvania. He was educated at The Academy of the New Church in Bryn Athyn, Pennsylvania and graduated from Temple University with a B.A. in Biology. He served in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers from 1966-1969 and is a Vietnam veteran. He continued his service in the U.S. Army Reserve and retired as a Lt. Col. in 1994. He was the Managing Director for Wyeth Nutritionals, Inc. and retired in 1998. He now owns a small business. He is currently the chairman of the Georgia Republican Committee, a board member on the Georgia Industrial Development Corp., Franklin County Industrial Dev. Corp., Green Mountain Council of the Boy Scouts of America, Franklin County Home Health and the Franklin/Grand Isle United Way. He was co-founder of The Franklin County Workforce Investment Board. He was past board member and chair of the Georgia School Board for 6 years, board member of the Vermont Business Roundtable, Vermont Human Council and the Flynn Theater for the Performing Arts.
