| Info | MITZI JOHNSON of South Hero, Grand Isle County, Democrat, was born on November 18, 1970, in Clifton Park, New York, and became a resident of present town in 1993. She was educated at Elementary and High School at Shenendehowa Central Schools, Clifton Park, New York; University of Vermont, Burlington, Vermont (B.S., 1993). Mitzi also completed coursework in the SOLO Wilderness Emergency Medicine and Leadership School; Agricultural Business Management through the University of Vermont Extension Service and Northern New England Tradeswomen's STEP-UP program. She manages vegetable production and supervises the apple harvest crew at Allenholm Farm in South Hero. She does consulting work for the Vermont Freedom to Marry Task Force and teaches piano lessons. Outside the growing season, she substitute teaches and assists at her family's third generation manufacturing business. She is a captain and EMT with South Hero Rescue; founding member of the Board of Directors, South Hero Land Trust; and member of the Route Two Radio Troupe. Member of the House: 2003-2004.
