Cale Case is a Lander small businessman and a 12-year veteran of the Wyoming State Legislature. He has served 6 years in the Wyoming House of Representatives and is now in his 6th year in the Wyoming Senate.

Cale is married to the former Shirley Homec from Hudson. They have three children George, Amber and Shene. Cale is a Lander native with deep roots in Wyoming. His paternal grandparents came from Missouri by wagon and homesteaded near Lost Springs in 1906, joining other relatives who had come to Converse County in the 1880's.

Cale was born in Lander in a family of six children and is the son of George and Mayre Elizabeth Case. His mother was a school teacher who originally came to Wyoming to teach in the one-room school at Atlantic City in the 1930s. His father was a long time pharmacist who started filling prescriptions in Lost Springs when he was a boy during the flu epidemic of 1918. Cale is a Lander small businessman and economic consultant who earned a Ph.D. from the University of Wyoming in 1986.

Cale is a Republican
Cale has been a member of the Republican Party as long as he has been old enough to vote. He has several years experience as a precinct committeeman in Fremont County and has been a delegate to the Republican State Convention numerous times. Cale believes in Republican principles and is very concerned about the increasing rate of growth of the government sector. He believes that creation of a vigorous economy and bright legacy for our children and grandchildren require a sound private sector economy.

Cale's Record in the Wyoming State Legislature
Cale has proven himself to be an able legislator. He enjoys working with members of both parties to pass good legislation and is very proud of his record. He has been the prime sponsor of nearly two dozen laws that have streamlined government, cut red-tape, saved tax money, and protected citizens' rights. In the 2004 legislative session Cale was prime sponsor of Senate File 64: Restoration of firearm rights - expungement. SF 64 provided a much needed process for persons convicted of a misdeamener, who lost their firearms rights under federal law, to request an investigation and action by a Wyoming court to restore those rights - if the court finds restoration to be warrented.

Of Cale's dozen years of public service, he has also been a cosponsor of numerouse measures in all areas of public policy. He has been a key member of several legislative standing committees, including: Appropriations; Judiciary; Travel Recreation and Wildlife; Labor, Health and Social Services; and the Corporations, Elections and Political Subdivisions. He also has served on select commitees including the Joint Committee on Employee Benefits, where he served as Chairman, and Technology in the Legislature, and the Tribal Relations Committee.

"I have proven myself to be an effective legislator. I am very proud of my record and my service to the people of Wyoming. These are the same qualities that I will bring as a United States Congressman."
