| Info | Liz Gibbons is currently a member of the Campbell Planning Commission. She participated in the State-mandated process for Campbell’s General Plan update. This work was followed by a yearlong review and update of zoning codes and ordinances, bringing them into compliance with the General Plan Goals and Strategies of the community. In these volunteer roles, she has presided over many public meetings and made numerous public presentations related to the Planning Approval Process. Liz served for six years on the board of a non-profit organization serving as Endowment Chair and Membership Chair. Liz also and has participated in community services and boards such as Save Our Libraries and the Campbell Historical Museum & Ainsley House.
Liz has extensive experience leading large scale design and development projects for a wide range of clients. Her past experience includes education, public agency, adaptive reuse, and private sector developments. Liz’s forte is in transforming strategic objectives into project requirements, flexible approaches, and timely capital assets. She is adept at identifying the client’s needs and implementing consistent solutions with interactive dialogue, expedient and attentive decision making. Her successful track record comes from an ability to foster participation and cooperation between clients, consultants, team members, regulatory agencies and the public. She is also currently serving as Board Director of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and conducts lectures, and teaches Architecture 101.
