| Info | Jeanne Poppe has experience in leadership and community involvement. I served for 8
years on the Austin City Council representing the 2nd Ward. During that
time I also served four years on the Development Corporation of Austin and 8
years on the Mower County Public Health Advisory committee. I also was
finance chair for four years and spent four years representing the city on
the Mower County Family Services Collaborative. Currently I serve as
secretary of the Austin Human Rights Commission. I have been involved in
the Austin Area Foundation Board of Trustees since before it was formed in
2003 and currently serve as vice chair. I work at Riverland Community
College as a counselor.
