| Info | Earl Poleski has lived in Jackson County since 1973. He and his wife, Candy, have two grown sons and three beautiful grandchildren.
He is a graduate of Jackson’s Parkside High School, Albion College (BA – Economics) and Walsh College (MS – Taxation). He has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1981. He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Michigan Association of CPAs. Earl’s career has included service in public accounting and financial management in the oil and gas industry.
Earl was elected to the Jackson County Commission in 2006, and served for four years before being elected State Representative for the 64th district in 2010. He served for three, two-year terms in Lansing – the maximum allowed under Michigan’s term limits.
After he termed out of the legislature, Earl served for two years as Executive Director of the Michigan State Housing Development Authority, a $4 billion organization.
Earl has served the community in several other ways. He has served on a number of charitable Boards of Directors, including the Family Service and Children’s Aid Society and the Jackson Symphony Orchestra. He is a member and Past President of the Jackson Breakfast Rotary Club.
He and Candy have been members of Jackson First United Methodist Church since 1973, and he sings in the choir.
In the nice weather, Earl and Candy enjoy boating in our beautiful State.
