Dr.Mildred Glover is Assisant Dean of the Earl G. Graves School of Business and Management at Morgan State University where she has reponsibility for student services and the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. A native of Savannah, Georgia, she received her Ed.D degree in Business Education from the University of Georgia, M.A. degree in Busines Education from New York University and B.S. degree in Business Education from Savannah State College.
Prior to her appointment at Morgan, Dr. Glover served in the following capacities: Associate Professor in the School of Business, Atlanta University, GA; Professor and Chairperson of the Business Division, Elizabeth City State University, NC; Assistant Professor of Business Administration, Savannah State College, GA; and instuctore of English, Thompkins High School, Savannah. For several years, she served on the Mayor's Future Funding Commission for the City of Atlanta. In the summer of 1992, she was the American Faculty Coordinator for the International Conference on Nation Building in Bulgaria. More recently, she served as Field Reader for the International Business Program, U.S. Department of Education, Washington, DC.
For eight years, Dr. Glover served as State Legislator in the Georgia General Assembly where she was responsible for Higher Education (Four-Year Institutions), State INsitutions (Mental Health) and Fulton County (Atlanta) Texas. Her major legislative efforts sought to bring help and hope to individuals and communities victimized by drugs, poor health, poverty and violence. She started the first Bible Study for legislators during that period.
Dr. Glover was also President of Atlanta Export Developers, an export-import business.
