Info | Lisa is a second generation Arizonan, born and raised in Yuma. She comes from a close-knit farming family with a devotion to education and a history of community service.
She has a broad range of educational experiences. Not only has she lived and worked in five countries on four continents and learned four languages in addition to English, but she also has followed domestic and international policy all of her adult life. With a Bachelor's degree in Policy Studies, a Master's degree in International Administration and Management, and experience in Washington, Lisa is well equipped for the task of representing the interests of Arizona's Congressional District 7.
She has been an international affairs specialist, a business woman in import/export, a teacher, and a translator, and has worked as a flight crew member and cross-cultural commmunications instructor for American Airlines. Throughout her life, Lisa has also worked with many non-profit organizations.
Lisa, a forty-one year old energetic, motivated and determined New Democrat, believes in quality public education, affordable health insurance for all Americans, a strong military force, and a US leadership that will build global trading system that is sensitive to workers' rights and environmental concerns
